Job Overview: We are seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors to oversee the installation and commissioning phases of onshore wind farm projects across Europe. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in wind turbine installation, a hands-on approach to site supervision, and the ability to manage subcontractors while ensuring all activities meet HSE and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Supervisor:
  • Supervise mechanical installation of wind turbine components (towers, nacelles, blades, hubs).
  • Ensure correct alignment, torqueing, and bolting according to OEM specifications.
  • Oversee crane operations and lifting activities in compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for delivery scheduling and inventory management.
  • Liaise with OEM technicians and commissioning teams to ensure smooth handover.
Electrical Supervisor:
  • Supervise electrical installation, cable routing, and terminations for turbines and substations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and OEM specifications.
  • Coordinate energization and commissioning of turbines and MV/HV systems.
  • Oversee testing of electrical systems including insulation resistance, continuity, and HV switching.
  • Manage interface with grid operators and local authorities for grid connection activities.
Common Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE procedures on site.
  • Monitor progress against schedule, report deviations, and support project planning.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to scope, standards, and timelines.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control documentation is maintained and submitted.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports for internal and client review.
  • Act as the main point of contact for technical issues and resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 3 years of experience on wind energy projects, preferably onshore.
  • Proven experience working with major turbine OEMs (e.g., Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE, Nordex).
  • Familiarity with European safety and electrical standards (IEC, EN, etc.).
  • GWO certifications (Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness).
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work on rotation across various European countries.
