MEP Construction Manager 

We are seeking an MEP Construction Manager to support a data centre project in Belgium.

We are seeking an MEP Construction Manager who will:

  • Support site safety management in coordination with the Safety Advisor, including setup, maintenance, and close-out of the project safety file.
  • Manage site quality assurance in coordination with the Mechanical Package Manager, including documentation setup and close-out.
  • Support project planning and scheduling in alignment with other trades, package leads, consultants, and client requirements.
  • Assist in managing package costs, including labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations, and valuations.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations across assigned works.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and weekly coordination meetings.
  • Ensure weekly snagging and punch lists are issued, tracked, and closed out appropriately.
  • Submit direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Support project close-out, including O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA documentation, and handover requirements.
  • Implement weekly look-ahead planning to ensure coordination between trades.
  • Produce weekly progress reports, including progress against WBS codes, risks, delays, and key issues.
  • Track and coordinate material deliveries in line with the project schedule.
  • Perform any other duties required to support successful project delivery.
Requirements 
  • Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Proven experience coordinating and managing large-scale projects.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
