Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off – 12 hours a day
Location: Offshore Role. Work will primarily be on a Jack-up barge alongside the OSS.
Rate: 950€ a day
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Travel to site offices (NL / DK / GER)
• Working Offshore onboard Jack Up Barge on 2 weeks on/off rotation
• Overseeing all contractor works during hook up & commissioning of NSC-A OSS Communicate demands from OSS Contractor and others for equipment and personnel.
• Manage HSE topics and in the event of an emergency, gives the appropriate instructions in consultation with the MCC
• Overseeing compliance of contractor personnel to HSE rules
• Review of contractor RAMS
• Manage Permit to Works (PTW) on OSS – ensure signed documentation is in place to allow works on OSS
• Review of relevant assessment and documentation by back-office
• Lead daily meetings:
o toolbox talk in the morning
o meeting with JUB
o MCC (progress, lookahead, weather, etc …)
• Draft DPR for internal project reporting
• Sign off DPR
o OSS Contractor,
o JUB service provider
• Management of SIMOPs
• Communication towards JUB crew and ensure contractual obligations under JUB agreement are met (support from back-office and logistics team)
• Manage transfer of cargo from / to barge or OSS
• Manage transfer of personnel from / to barge or OSS
• Communicate and coordination with MCC
• Construction Manager should not participate / responsible of any commissioning activities
• Client Rep duties during NSC-A OSS T&I phase
• In case required: Driving of the NSC-A OSS cranes: Training to be provided by NSC
CERTIFICATIONS
• Drivers License
• Full GWO certification
• HUET (with CBA-EBS)
• Valid Offshore medical certificate
EXPERIENCE
• Experience in the Offshore Wind business
• Experience as Offshore Client Rep
• Experience in electrical substation hook up & commissioning works
• Experience in managing and overseeing Offshore works and procedures from multiple contractors, incl. permit-to-work systems, review of RAMS, SIMOPS etc.
• Very good awareness for HSE
• Very good organizational skills to deal with a big variety of tasks
• Structured and self-driven way of working
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Very good skills in Excel and other Office applications
