To include inventory, tool, certification and calibration, PPE and waste management. Follow the waste management plan that looks to segregates the waste streams at source, allows clear identification and storage of waste onboard the vessel and a controlled and efficient demobilisation process to shore side receptacles. Maintain communication channels and points of contacts between the offshore team, the SOV back office and the shore based fleet team. To include stock adjustments process, PPE and tooling requirements, certification & calibration, adhoc parts requests for trouble shooting and quality checks/ queries. Collation of picklists / requests from the Senior Technicians and /or Stores Manager. Create, identification and quality checking of service bundles/kits for the next 24 hours work prior to mobilisation. Respond to adhoc requests from the service teams on the WTG’s and clear handover to the Single point of contact for the vessel crew for all craning and deck work both operational at sea and alongside the quay. In collaboration with the SOV Stores Manager support the planning of port calls with vessel team, shore-based teams communicating same to all stakeholders, ensuring that port call activities are planned and implemented to mitigate risk of vessel delay. HSE Expert

Our client has decided to localise the assembly of one of their latest specialist power electronic equipment as part of their global export strategy.  Consequently they are in the market for a suitable candidate to help lead this activity working closely with their China based specialists and selected UK based manufacturing partner company. The Manufacturing Manager role is a hugely important role where you'll help facilitate and achieve our ambitious objectives.  Initially the activity will be focused on the high current power supplies for the next generation steel furnaces to support our key partner, then the second stage will look to other product lines such as the STATCOM platform. You will have a strong background in electrical manufacturing with appropriate postgraduate qualifications and be fluent in English and Chinese in order to communicate effectively with the relevant internal business teams and external supply chain partners. You will have the willingness and capability to travel within the UK and Internationally, and must have good knowledge of the UK/European manufacturing and supply chain to help identify key supply chain partners. You will also actively support the wider engineering and project teams where necessary during the execution of related projects. Onshore Substation Package Manager   Period - 16/01/2026 to 01/03/2027 Business Unit - Package Management Electrical (OTC-CE) Rotations – Monday-Friday Type – Freelance contract outside IR35 Rate - £800 a day   Location: Swindon office, London Project Office, Coventry Office or Necton Onshore Substation, Swaffham, Norfolk. PE37 8EG. Travel also required to these sites as required for the works.   Description: The role will safely deliver all aspects of the design, contracting, construction and handover to operations of the Onshore Substation Package • As the Onshore Substation Package Manager you will safely deliver the Onshore Substation and connection to the national electricity transmission network including substation design, supply, installation and commissioning, and liaison with the RWE 400kV package Manager Grid/TSO and other authorities as required. You will ensure the package equipment is developed and integrated fully into the wider electrical system including the offshore substations, offshore cables and landfall infrastructure and handed over with all documentation complete as required. • Deliver the electrical system, procurement and project management of the electrical system component parts (where technical and commercial synergies exist) in liaison with the Lead Electrical Engineer and Senior Project Manager for the project. • Be responsible for the planning, time schedule and budget control of the Onshore Substation, grid connection works and associated electrical systems and equipment, and civils and mechanical works. • Face to face interactions with the site team and main contractor at the construction site is expected for a minimum of two days per week.   CERTIFICATIONS • Degree or Chartership in Project Management and membership of recognised Project Management organisation such as APM • Sound knowledge of Electrical Engineering, preferably higher qualification, or closely related competency • Renewable energy/offshore wind farm experience • Demonstrable experience of working effectively in an international business OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Understanding of and ability to work to the CDM regulations. • Experience of working in package management of Offshore substations or closely related complex infrastructure. • Experience on large, complex capital projects through development and construction phase, especially HV and EHV transmission systems and associated works in the UK. • Knowledge of grid infrastructure and grid code • Renewable energy/offshore wind farm experience
