This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and performance of the turbines by identifying and preventing quality deviations during blade receipt, storage, preassembly, and installation.

  • Conduct incoming inspections of turbine blades upon delivery to site, including verification of serial numbers, documentation, and visual checks for transport or handling damage.
  • Perform detailed blade inspections (cosmetic and structural) following OEM and project-specific inspection checklists and criteria.
  • Record all inspection results in the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) where applicable.
  • Oversee and verify repair processes carried out by OEM technicians or subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with Construction, HSE, and Commissioning teams to maintain a strong quality culture on site.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and progress meetings.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Danish regulations and project-specific HSE policies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Technical degree or equivalent background in composite materials, mechanical engineering, or wind energy.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in blade inspection, quality control, or composite manufacturing within the wind industry.

  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and OEM inspection procedures (e.g., Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE).
  • Proficiency in using digital inspection tools and data entry systems (e.g., NCR logs, SAP, iAuditor, or similar).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and OEM documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Danish language skills are an advantage).
  • Valid GWO certifications (Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness).
