Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced Generator Winders to join our field services team for ongoing and upcoming projects across the United States. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of generator platforms, including GE, Alstom, and Siemens units, in dynamic, hands-on environments.

As a Winder, you will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, re-winding, and reassembly of generator stators and rotors in accordance with OEM specifications and industry best practices. Projects range from routine maintenance and rewinds to complex field repairs on large-scale industrial generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stator and rotor winding, rewinds, and insulation work on large industrial generators
  • Work on OEM equipment including GE, Alstom, and Siemens units
  • Carry out detailed inspections and document findings during disassembly and repair
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and technical standards
  • Collaborate with field engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to meet project timelines
  • Adhere to all site-specific safety and compliance requirements
  • Travel to various project sites across the U.S. as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Generator Winder in field service or repair facilities
  • Strong knowledge of generator construction and repair procedures
  • Prior experience with GE, Alstom, or Siemens generators preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and OEM documentation
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in varying site conditions
  • Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass site-required screenings
