COMPANY SITE REPRESENTATIVE
(Barge / Vessel Client Representative / Lead)**
Qualifications
  • Minimum BSc (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years total offshore Oil & Gas experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore construction projects including:
    • Jacket installation
    • Decks and bridges
    • Subsea cables
    • Pipelines and risers
    • Hook-up and tie-ins
    • Pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • Experience gained on:
    • Offshore construction vessels
    • Self-elevating barges
    • Derrick and lay barges
Technical Knowledge
  • Offshore construction practices
  • Marine and safety regulations
  • QA/QC
  • Welding and coating
  • Jacket and deck installation procedures
  • Anchor handling and barge movements
  • Survey, navigation, and positioning systems
  • Pipe laying, cable laying, and riser installation
  • Hook-up and tie-ins for piping, E&I
  • System and equipment commissioning
  • Familiarity with:
    • SOLAS
    • MODU
    • ADNOC HSE Standards
    • ADNOC Offshore marine standards
Core Responsibilities
  • Act as Project focal point and represent the Project Management Team during offshore installation campaigns
  • Report to ADNOC Offshore Project Team Leader (Abu Dhabi)
  • Act as main communication link with contractors, TPA, and Operations field personnel
  • Liaise closely with ADNOC Offshore Marine Representative
  • Ensure approved construction procedures are strictly followed
  • Obtain formal approval for any changes via Project MOC procedures
  • Develop risk mitigation measures based on risk assessments
  • Supervise and monitor contractors’ daily work activities
  • Review contractor variation and change-order requests and report impacts
  • Be responsible for all assigned ADNOC Offshore site team members
  • Produce:
    • Daily progress reports
    • Accident/incident reports
    • Safety and improvement recommendations
  • Sign Contractor Daily Progress Reports with comments
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, QA, and company standards
  • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety drills
  • Be familiar with emergency response plans (evacuation, medevac, etc.)
  • Produce a Close-Out Report upon assignment completion, including lessons learned
  • WMS approved
