Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and facilitate construction and site coordination meetings.</li><li>Act as the client's on-site representative during project execution.</li><li>Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all activities.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections and workplace safety audits.</li><li>Review engineering designs and develop execution, phasing, inspection, and implementation plans.</li><li>Coordinate operational permits, outages, and access requirements.</li><li>Manage internal and external project resources, including contractors, supervisors, and specialist vendors.</li><li>Oversee construction activities from preparation through to handover.</li><li>Inspect, review, and accept completed works.</li><li>Prepare progress reports, construction updates, and stakeholder communications.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery programmes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with technical specifications, contractual obligations, HSE requirements, and sustainability targets.</li><li>Coordinate successful handover of completed assets to operations and maintenance teams.</li></ul>Required Qualifications & Experience Essential<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial Automation, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 2 years' experience delivering construction, maintenance, refurbishment, or infrastructure projects within a technical environment.</li><li>Experience supervising contractors and site-based activities.</li><li>Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.</li><li>Experience working under construction contracts, preferably including design-and-build frameworks.</li><li>Valid site safety certification (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Experience leading, coaching, and coordinating construction teams and contractors.</li></ul>Desirable<ul><li>Experience within:<ul><li>High-voltage substations</li><li>Transmission & Distribution (T&D)</li><li>Utilities</li><li>Renewable energy projects</li><li>Industrial infrastructure environments</li></ul></li><li>Knowledge of outage planning and operational interfaces within live network environments.</li></ul>Project Details<ul><li>Location: Hybrid working with regular site presence required.</li><li>Duration: Approximately 6 months.</li><li>Hours: 32-40 hours per week.</li><li>Start Date: ASAP.</li><li>Extension: Not currently anticipated.</li><li>Screening: Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening and provide evidence of identity prior to commencement.</li></ul>
