About the Role
We are seeking an experienced E&C Manager to provide crucial support to the Engineering Manager in managing and streamlining the entire engineering workflow within a major industrial project. In this dynamic role, you will play an instrumental part in team assembly, technical documentation development, quality monitoring, and cost evaluation throughout all project phases.
This position involves occasional travel to project locations and reference visits to similar installations both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Workflow Management
Education: Completed HBO degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Power Plant Technology
Experience: Extensive experience with engineering processes and planning in a multidisciplinary, industrial environment; background in (petro)chemical or energy sectors preferred
Languages: Excellent command of Dutch and English with ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation in English
Core Competencies:
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work closely with them to ensure seamless project execution and team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Workflow Management
- Support the Engineering Manager in managing and streamlining the complete engineering workflow from basic engineering through to final tendering
- Play a crucial role in assembling an effective project team comprising internal specialists and external suppliers
- Closely support design development across all project phases
- Draft necessary technical documentation and establish critical preconditions for discipline engineers
- Ensure high-quality English-language engineering and tender documents are produced
- Prepare meeting reports and presentations to support project administration
- Continuously monitor quality and progress of engineering work
- Actively contribute to preparation of cost estimates
- Participate in project meetings and negotiations
- Assist with bid evaluations and formulation of award recommendations
