Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and coordinate commissioning and operational activities across the project.
  • Ensure commissioning activities comply with HSE, quality, planning, and cost requirements.
  • Promote zero-harm HSE policy through active involvement in daily operations.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination between all stakeholders.
  • Validate that equipment and systems meet functional and operational requirements.
  • Report commissioning progress and participate in related meetings.
  • Review and ensure quality of commissioning documentation.
  • Communicate with grid operator, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Optimize wind farm production for maximum power output.
  • Manage and operate the control room effectively.
  • Monitor HV/MV electrical operations to ensure safety.
  • Implement best practices for commissioning scope and collaborate with O&M teams.
  • Capture and transfer commissioning experience into asset operations.
Electrical Safety & Control Duties:
  • Act as Electrical Safety Control Engineer (ESCE) and Senior Authorized Person (SAP) for switching decisions.
  • Prepare, review, and comment on PTW and RAMS.
  • Authorize and monitor all remote HV/MV switching operations.
  • Prepare cross-package switching protocols and schedules.
  • Coordinate emergency response and communicate outages to stakeholders.
  • Operate electrical equipment via SCADA systems, including signal testing.
  • Manage HV systems (225kV) and MV systems (33kV) operations.
  • Handle SCADA alarms and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain operational logs and manage shift handovers.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role, preferably in offshore wind farm commissioning or operations.
  • Strong experience as Control Engineer and/or Senior Authorized Person up to 225kV.
  • Expertise in switching operations and electrical systems.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical networks and control & protection systems.
  • Proficiency in English and/or French.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Adaptable and able to work in an international team environment
