This position involves hands-on supervision and execution of mechanical installation, alignment, commissioning, and quality assurance of turbine systems and their auxiliary components.

We are seeking a highly qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE) with deep expertise in Heavy Duty Gas Turbines (HDGT) installation and commissioning. This position involves hands-on supervision and execution of mechanical installation, alignment, commissioning, and quality assurance of turbine systems and their auxiliary components.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute installation activities of HDGTs, including:
- Auxiliary skids
- Driven machines
- Related auxiliary systems
- Perform foundation verification, machinery alignment, and component installation (couplings, separate deliveries, etc.)
- Install and test:
- Piping (flushing and blowing)
- Ducting
- Enclosures
- Ventilation systems
- Steel structures
- Install and level:
- Gearbox (GB)
- Auxiliary skids (oil, fuel, water, F&G, coolers)
- Conduct mechanical checkouts and interface with client inspectors
- Perform boroscope inspections and assist during mechanical commissioning and start-up
- Work closely with Control Engineers during commissioning and start-up operations
- Read and interpret technical documentation (Layouts, P&IDs, specifications, sketches)
- Manage Non-Conforming Materials (NCMs)
- Prepare technical reports and input data using electronic tools (e.g., EDM, TCE, FieldWorks)
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and EHS standards at all times
