This client is a global leader in materials technology. The organization focuses on clean mobility, sustainable materials, battery technologies, and high?performance recycling. Umicore operates multiple production sites globally, including key locations throughout Belgium and Poland. 
 
Department Description and Responsibilities 
The People & Organization (P&O) team at the Nysa site supports the full HR lifecycle within a rapidly growing industrial production environment.

Project Description 
This client is seeking a Site P&O Lead (HR Business Partner) to strengthen the P&O operations at the Nysa location. 
 
This role combines strategic HR Business Partnering with hands on operational work, in close collaboration with site leadership, HR coaches, and global P&O teams. 
 
Key domains for 2026 include: 
  • Implementing Career Development frameworks 
  • Integrating IATF/automotive quality requirements into HR processes 
  • Improving labor relations and managing union interactions 
  • Rolling out Absenteeism & Return to work programs 
  • Executing Stay Interviews & People Survey action plans 
  • Ensuring policy review, compliance, and harmonization 
 
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities 
  • Lead and execute HR projects relating to career frameworks, competence models, and quality integration 
  • Prepare and execute training, communication, and rollout of key P&O initiatives 
  • Strengthen labor relations and ensure compliance with Polish labor law 
  • Support and challenge management on workforce, talent, and organizational topics 
  • Facilitate survey sessions, team dialogues, and engagement workshops 
  • Audit, update, and standardize HR policies, procedures, and SOPs 
  • Provide operational coaching to HR team members where needed 
  • Serve as the local point of contact for global HR implementations 
  • Ensure documentation and reporting accuracy to meet audit and IATF standards 
 
Technical Profile Requirements 
  • Min 7yrs. HR Business Partner experience in industrial environments 
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and experience working with trade unions 
  • Experience implementing HR frameworks (career paths, competency models) 
  • Understanding of IATF or other automotive quality standards 
  • Experience with HR compliance, audits, and procedural governance 
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a strong plus
