Description:
These roles support nuclear projects by providing planning and engineering expertise in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and Electrical Engineering. Two positions: one for Biblis Nuclear Site, one for Lingen Nuclear Site Candidates will work predominantly on-site to integrate into active project teams. The sub-project managers manage the sub-projects tailored to technical aspects and are responsible for the completeness, consistency and correctness of the engineering planning in the sub-projects. They are also responsible for meeting deadlines and planning budgets. In this project, TPL combines the technical project functions (in particular specialist project management), order management, quality management and (preparatory work for) scheduling.

Responsibilities include (Generic across both sites) Engineering & Technical
• Planning and engineering within C&I and Electrical disciplines
• Getting familiar with the client nuclear systems, standards, and project structures
• Working closely with site teams to deliver project milestones Project Integration
• Daily interaction with C&I and electrical colleagues
• Rapid onboarding into nuclear project environments
• Contributing within large multi-disciplinary engineering teams Technical

Skills Mandatory:
• Strong background in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) OR Electrical Engineering
• Experience in industrial or nuclear project environments preferred Soft Skills
• Ability to integrate quickly into large project teams
• Willingness to be on site and work embedded in operations Language Requirements German fluency is essential
• All documentation is in German
• Candidates without strong German skills will struggle to perform the job Work Conditions On-site Work
• Role is primarily on-site
• Occasional home office is possible, but not the norm
• On-site presence is critical to learning nuclear systems and integrating into the team

PPE
• Provided by client (contractor does not need to supply their own)

Start Date
• Despite original documentation stating February, realistic start date is 1 March
• Earlier dates are not feasible



In detail, the tasks of the TPL include: - Drafting and adherence to partial budgets for all components, systems and services and monitoring deadlines in service provision - Continuous updating of cost estimates and forecasts (deliveries and services as well as own engineering services) - Identification and defence of technical and economic risks - Technical coordination and interface management (also for operational operations), monitoring and control of the overall planner and suppliers - Ensuring a quality-assured and timely throughput of the VPU, the MEK and FAP test programs, etc. - Maintenance of the so-called measures folder and ensuring a quality-assured and timely submission of the project documentation (including the final documentation) - Definition and implementation of quality requirements in the project - Compliance with all licensing regulations - Compliance with all technical standards of BGZ and client Nuclear GmbH - Consideration of location requirements - Development of sub-project presentations with site specifics - Reporting to the overall project management - Provision of appointments and information to the PS (appointments) for the creation and updating of the schedules - Ensuring valid certificates and approvals of the employees employed in the sub-projects TPL's main tasks and responsibilities in contract management are: - Participation and review of the technical concept and specification of the supplies and services (LuL) - Preparation/adherence to partial budgets and milestones for the LuL - Participation and review in the preparation of tender documents as well as bid review and preparation - Allocation recommendation for LuL (especially from a technical point of view) - Direct (technical) contact for the companies commissioned with LuL - Elaboration of specific quality requirements and ensuring compliance with them in planning, construction and assembly - Document review, in particular examination of the preliminary test documents (VPU) to be submitted by the suppliers, the test programs for MEK, FAP, individual and complete system IBN, etc. as well as the final documentation - Creation and maintenance of the so-called catalogue of measures for the relevant lots
- Ensuring the contribution of all relevant or existing technical knowledge to the project work - Checking the accuracy and completeness of instruction and training documents - Moderation of briefings and training courses Short description (bullet points) of requested tasks: • Lead Engineer C&I and Electrical for dedicated lots (see attached job profile documents) • Services in accordance with supplementary sheets
