We are looking for a highly experienced measurement specialist to lead technical delivery of measurement assets and campaigns across renewable energy projects.
The role combines deep technical expertise with coordination and project leadership responsibilities. Acting as the primary focal point for selected measurement assets, the specialist will coordinate subject matter experts, manage suppliers, drive planning activities and ensure successful delivery throughout the asset lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
· Technical lead for measurement assets and campaigns
· Coordinate SMEs across multiple measurement disciplines
· Supplier management and technical follow-up
· Planning and execution support throughout project lifecycles
· Support specification, procurement, commissioning and acceptance testing
· Contribute to technical standards, ways of working and capability development
· Mentor junior engineers and support development of internal competencies
· Provide expert support during critical project phases and troubleshooting activities
· Travel is expected to be limited, with occasional visits for supplier onboarding, critical testing and commissioning activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience within wind measurement technologies, preferably including lidar systems, and is comfortable operating across multiple measurement disciplines. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring for both internal team members and external consultants.
Consultant should preferably work from the office in GTF since the rest of the team works from there.
GWO courses is preferred.
The Consultant must bring his/her own Iphone. External consultants’ equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and iPads must always be up-to-date with the latest iOS release. The owner must allow clients AirWatch security and management software for iPhones and iPads to be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by clients staff (including External consultants) to protect them from cybercrime. The owner must grant approval for client to remove apps, data and access from privately owned equipment if it is deemed to pose a risk in relation to client security or the GDPR regulations, if the equipment is lost/stolen, or if the owner ceases to have an active contract with Magnit and/or client. When an external consultant leaves client, they must contact the IT Service Desk to remove all clients apps and data. The IT Service Desk can only support privately owned equipment in connection with client AirWatch security and management software.
