Cost Engineer Sofia, Vanguard and Dogger Bank Swindon – hybrid work options available 13/04/2026 – 30/11/2026 Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Creation and administration of forecasts for the costs of the Offshore wind projects, maintaining a schedule of the forecast cash flow from the Investment decision to final completion</li><li>Record and monitor the financial impact of change requests and communicating outcomes and consequences with the Project Management Team.</li><li>Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and sub-contractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.</li><li>Identify and monitor financial risks and clearly present these to the Project Finance Director</li><li>Support the monthly reporting including the preparation of financial information on the project for Project Financing requirements and shareholders as required.</li><li>FX hedge monitoring and maintaining inputs necessary for hedge accounting</li><li>Support the valuation of OFTO assets and input as necessary into the transaction process for the regulated divestment.</li><li>Ensure internal controls are being adequately applied e.g Delegation of Authority for client's investment spend , controls detailed in specific project shareholder agreements or local country specific procedures etc</li><li>Development and maintain good working relationships with all internal stakeholders as required to ensure clear visibility on the status of the tasks above to both project and line management.</li></ul> Key Qualifications: <ul><li>Knowledge and understanding of contract(s) of assigned packages for a construction project in the renewables market or comparable large infrastructure project is essential</li><li>Advanced Excel proficiency is essential</li><li>SAP or Similar ERP system knowledge is an advantage</li><li>English as a working language is essential, other European languages an advantage</li><li>Quantity surveyor qualification or similar an advantage</li><li>Good communication and organisational skills</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic and global environment with an entrepreneurial attitude</li><li>Ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders in a matrix organisation</li></ul> Must have Qualification / Experience: <ul><li>Project and Cost management, Advanced Excel.
