Department Description and responsibilities

As a Party Chief, you’ll prepare, gather and process survey information and ensure reporting of data and possible deviations to Project Management and client’s representatives, in line with contractual agreements, thereby contributing to safe and (cost-) efficient project execution.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

Determine and install necessary measurement equipment.
-Measure and process data before, during and after project execution and carry out field checks, according to contractual agreements and specifications.
-Verify the accuracy of the data and analyse and interpret the data, process the data into a report for presenting and explaining results to Project Management and/or client and start and maintain a database.
-Analyse functioning of measuring equipment and ensure maintenance, in accordance with the maintenance instructions.

Technical profile requirements

- 7 years’ experience as a Party Chief in marine or construction environments.
-Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment.
-Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
-Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam.

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results.
-Willingness to work in various locations and adapt to project-specific requirements

Methodology/Certification requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
-Eligibility to work on location (VISA/Work Permit) (US Citizen or OCS B1 WIND VISA)
