Onshore Landfall Site Manager Location: Happisburgh NR12 - South Denes Road, Great Yarmouth Duration: 01/04/2026 to 30/04/2027 Project: Norfolk Vanguard West and East OWF Type: Freelance, outside IR35 Role description: The Onshore HDD Landfall Site Manager will support the Offshore Site Manager (OSM) in the management of the site establishment and works co-ordination for the Onshore PC Zone 3 Site, at Happisburgh NR12, for the completion of HDD and the subsequent installation, jointing and testing of 2x 320kV offshore cables plus associated. Experience of the management of offshore wind farm construction, including an appreciation of the Principal Contractor duties under the CDM (2015) Regulations is required. The scope of works will be carried out at the Principal Contractor construction coordination base in Norfolk, and the Onshore PC Zone 3 Site, at Happisburgh NR12. Flexible working hours will be essential given the 24-hour offshore construction process, and it is expected that the Onshore HDD Landfall Site Manager will work with either a 10 on 4 off shift rotation or Monday to Friday with sufficient provisions for travel - yet to be defined. The Onshore HDD Landfall Site Manager will have the day-to-day responsibility for the coordination and management of works within the PC Zone 3 Site and related to the landfall installation of the offshore export cables. Reporting activity to line management and the wider project will be daily and weekly. There will be a requirement to attend and where relevant chair daily and weekly meetings attended by the GSM, OSM, Marine Coordinators, Permit Coordinators and all Contractors. The consultant must have substantial hands-on experience with SCADA commissioning in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, including direct experience with Hitachi Micro SCADA and Substation Control Systems. We are seeking a senior S&C Engineer Representative – SCADA Commissioning to support EPC Electrical Systems within SCADA. The purpose of the assignment is to provide independent supervision and coordination of SCADA commissioning activities, including FAT, SAT, SIT, and on-site execution, ensuring full compliance with client's standards, project specifications, National Grid requirements, and applicable HSE rules and local legislation. The consultant will assume day-to-day responsibility for managing and coordinating SCADA commissioning activities on site.
