Department Description and Responsibilities
As an Offshore Medic, you will play a key role as part of the on-site team assigned to one of our offshore projects worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and controlling all medical practices onboard, ensuring they meet company and international standards. Your duties will include providing direct medical care to personnel, managing medical facilities and supplies, and conducting regular inspections of activities and equipment to verify their compliance with health and safety requirements. You will also ensure the proper implementation of medical procedures, support emergency response preparedness, and contribute to promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all offshore staff.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to offshore personnel, including emergency response, occupational health treatments, and accurate documentation of all cases.
- Maintain and operate the offshore medical facilities, ensuring readiness, functionality, and availability of sufficient medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of medical reports, compile statistics, and provide analysis and reports as required.
- Oversee occupational health and hygiene programs, including health surveillance, fitness-to-work monitoring, and workplace environment assessments.
- Assist in planning and conducting emergency drills and training exercises, evaluate medical preparedness, and recommend improvements.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks, providing medical and health-related input where relevant.
- Support incident investigations from a medical perspective, ensuring findings and corrective actions are documented and followed-up.
- Carry out medical inspections onboard, ensuring compliance with health standards, proper reporting, and effective follow-up.

Technical profile requirements
- 5 years’ experience as Offshore Medic in high-risk industries.
- Good knowledge & experience with MS Office.
- Experience with Offshore Wind operations is a plus.
- Willingness to travel abroad on 4:4 or 5:5 rotation.
- Fit for Offshore work.

Job-specific certification requirements
- HSE Offshore Medic (or similar).
- Licensed Medic.
- NEBOSH IDIP/Certificate or similar (through experience) is a plus.

Offshore-specific certifications requirements
-Full GWO
-Offshore Medical.
-Helicopter Underwater Escape Techniques (HUET) CA-EBS.
-Chester Step Test (or similar)
-Bi-deltoid measurement

VISA requirements
- US B1 OCS WIND VISA (!!)

Language proficiencies
- Fluent proficiency in English is required (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus
