Conduct detailed visual inspections of electrical components, such as cables, connectors, and ICCP, to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
Ensure that all electrical components conform to industry standards, regulations, and project-specific requirements, including IEC, IEEE, and offshore safety standards.
Inspect the quality and compliance of materials used in electrical components, including insulation, conductors.
Verify material certificates and traceability for critical components.
Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, including inspection reports, test results, and photographic documentation of electrical components.
Create detailed inspection reports that summarize findings and indicate compliance or non-conformance.
Inspect the quality of wiring and connections, ensuring that they are correctly terminated, secured, and free from defects.
Participate in functional tests to ensure that electrical systems and components operate as intended.
Investigate electrical defects or non-conformance issues, identify root causes, and recommend correction and corrective actions.
Identify areas for process improvement and suggest methods to enhance the reliability and safety of electrical components and systems
