Department description and responsibilities
The Acigné site near Rennes (IR Glass) is part of the Business Unit Electro-Optic Materials. It develops and produces GASIR® chalcogenide glasses: infrared-transparent glasses used in lenses and optics for thermal and night-vision detection.

The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for identifying and attracting talent for the site. You collaborate with Hiring Managers, the local P&O team and the Talent Sourcing Specialists to understand staffing needs. The role covers sourcing, recruiting and onboarding of blue- and white-collar profiles across production, maintenance, quality, engineering and support functions.

Project description: We are looking for an independent Talent Acquisition Officer to support the Acigné site for a 6-month assignment, extension possible. You will own end-to-end recruitment for open vacancies, covering blue- and white-collar profiles. The workload may start part-time and scale according to the needs of the site.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities - Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. - Create and align job postings according to client standards, in French and, where relevant, English. - Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, local networks, schools and, where relevant, temp agencies and France Travail. - Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience and cultural fit. - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. - Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and local industry contacts to create a talent pipeline. - Track and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.

Technical profile requirements - 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment (zie open punt 2) - Proven experience recruiting blue-collar & white collar profiles (must-have) - Experience managing multiple requisitions in parallel in a fast-paced environment - Good understanding of French labour law and regulations related to hiring, including non-discrimination rules and contract types (CDI/CDD/intérim) - Knowledge of SHL tests and questionnaires (OPQ, MQ, G+) is a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS (SuccessFactors, …)

Non-Technical profile requirements - Responsible and able to work independently, with ownership of the full recruitment process - Team player who builds trust with hiring managers and site P&O - Strong listening, communication and interviewing skills - Pragmatic and flexible, able to adapt to changing site priorities

Language proficiencies - French: native level (must have) - English: minimum B2 (CEFR), spoken and written

Location - Acigné (ZA du Boulais, 35690), near Rennes, France - On-site presence 3 days per week, extra onsite presence during onboarding is required - Please indicate the candidate's place of residence
